The submerged and waterlogged remains of over 500 crannogs throughout Scotland preserve incredible artefactual and palaeo-environmental time capsules of prehistoric life. In this talk, Dr Michael Stratigos from the University of Glasgow presents the latest results of a research project at the Scottish Universities Environmental Research Centre and Radiocarbon Facility on the timing and tempo of crannog dwelling.
