Large online lectures: special issues

Informal lunchtime sessions supporting online teaching, primarily led by academic staff, and centrally supported by the Centre for Educational Enhancement and Development, are taking place every second Thursday throughout this coming semester.

The theme of the next session, happening this Thursday, September 17, from 1-2pm, is:
Large online lectures: special issues. It will be led by Dr. Margaret Leighton from the School of Economics and Finance.

You can join the session Thursday September 17 at 1pm using this Microsoft Teams link: https://bit.ly/3hyH2MU

Format of the Lunchtime Sessions: A ten-minute presentation, normally by a member of academic staff, followed by a relaxed, informal, and constructive round table discussion where we share our knowledge and ask questions on the session's theme.

The lunchtime sessions for online teaching are open to everyone involved in teaching across the University (including PhD students) and aim to coordinate and provide as much peer-led support as possible. Their format and themes are flexible to suit the dynamic environment in which we find ourselves.

The series is part of the'Live from the Hive' series and will take place in the 'Live from the Hive' Teams channel.
