Kathryn Porter --- Careers Event School of International Relations

U.S. Consul General in Edinburgh, Kathryn Porter, is visiting St Andrews! She'll give a background on her career to date and hold a Q&A session for all interested.
She previously served as a Senior Operations Management Officer in Washinton DC, overseeing management, innovation, and outreach at the State Department Operations Center, the Secretary of State's 24-hour crisis management and communications center. She previously served as a Consul at the U.S. Embassy in Moscow. Other overseas tours include a variety of Consular positions at the U.S. Consulates in Krakow, Toronto, Johannesburg, and Tijuana.
