St Salvator's Chapel Choir presents one of the greatest highlights of baroque music, initially written by Bach for Good Friday in 1724, his first year as Thomascantor in Leipzig. With soloists drawn from the present cohort of outstanding choral scholars and a mixture of student and professional musicians playing at baroque pitch, this will be a unique opportunity to experience Bach's genius in the glorious acoustics of the McPherson Recital Room.
