Interdisciplinary Research Festival Interdisciplinarity in the wild
Join the Graduate School for Interdisciplinary Studies for the University's first Interdisciplinary Research Festival, an event celebrating the diversity, creativity and collaborative spirit of our academic community.
Organised by our Associate Fellows, the festival will showcase research projects that cross disciplinary boundaries and challenge conventional ways of understanding the world.
Research does not stay neatly contained within disciplines, it happens in fields and laboratories, museums and libraries, studios and unexpected places where academic guardrails begin to blur. The festival explores what interdisciplinarity looks like in practice, drawing on the real-life experiences of PhD students, Early Career Researchers and established scholars.
Whether you are already working across disciplines or are curious about how research travels beyond traditional boundaries, we encourage you to attend.
Lunch and refreshments will be provided.
*Update* – Registration for this event has now closed. If you'd still like to attend please email [email protected] to be added to the waitlist.
