Innovation through collaboration: Centre for Process Innovation (CPI)
The University of St Andrews Research Business Development team invites you to our next ‘Innovation through collaboration: Centre for Process Innovation (CPI)' event taking place on Wednesday 3rd of May 2023.
We will be joined by Paul Blakeman, Strategic Partnerships Manager (Scotland) at Centre for Process Innovation (CPI). Paul is part of the CPI's strategic partnerships team which works with academic and public sector partners to help enhance CPI's support to industry and economic impact in particular geographies. Paul's background is in product management, innovation consultancy and smart cities and has worked with a wide variety of organisations — public, private and academic – to facilitate impactful innovation and collaboration.
CPI is founding member of UK Government's High Value Manufacturing Catapult Network established in 2004. CPI acts as a catalyst bringing together academia, businesses, government and investors to translate bright ideas and research into the marketplace. CPI operate across multiple markets such as AgriFoodTech, Materials, Energy storage, HealthTech and Pharma.
The event will provide an overview of CPI's business functions and collaborative opportunities. This will include an overview of the ‘Researchers in Residence' programme and application process.
If you would like 10mins after the main presentation to talk to Paul Blakeman about specific areas of work, please do let me (Jayshree Johnstone, [email protected]) know and we can schedule this in.
