In conversation: Rewrite the Future --- Imagine a country
Join the Museums Learning and Access team for an afternoon of conversation and reflection inspired by the book Imagine a Country, a collection of hopeful visions for the future of Scotland, and the exhibition Rewrite the Future at the Wardlaw Museum.
Contributors, including Jo Sharp, Val McDermid, Peter Mackay, Lyndsey Croal and others, will revisit their original pieces, or present new ones, five years on from publication. Together they'll reflect on how their visions have evolved and what might still be possible for Scotland's future. Come along to be inspired, challenged, and part of the conversation.
An audience Q&A will follow the panel discussion.
This event will also be live streamed for those unable to join us in St Andrews. Please click the link at the top of the page to sign up for the online event.
This event is part of Rewrite the Future, an exhibition at the Wardlaw Museum exploring how today's choices can shape a fairer, more sustainable tomorrow. Through bold questions, alternative perspectives and inspiring ideas, Rewrite the Future invites you to imagine new possibilities for the world ahead.
The exhibition is created in collaboration with the St Andrews Centre for Critical Sustainabilities and on display at the Wardlaw Museum from Saturday 31 May to Sunday 28 September.
This event is also part of Alumni Weekend 2025.
