IBANS Lunch

One of the key goals underpinning the strategy of the Institute of Behavioural and Neural Sciences (IBANS) is to provide a platform for networking across different Schools and facilitating multidisciplinary collaborations.

The event will include a series of flash presentations aimed at showcasing the variety of research taking place across the University. We will also award a small grant to support the kick-start of a new cross-School collaboration.

Schedule for the day is currently:
11 to 11.30 -- Arrival/coffee
11.30 to 11.40 -- Welcome and outline of IBANS strategy and activities: IBANS Directors
11.40 to 11.50 -- IBANS and the University strategy: Professor Tom Brown, VP Research and Innovation
11.50 to 12-50 -- Flash presentations by IBANS researchers
12.50 to 14.10 -- Lunch with discussion aimed at identifying new collaborations
14.10 to 14.30 -- Pitch for new projects
14.30 to 14.45 -- Announcement of IBANS grant winners
