Hong Kong -- Professor Bill Austin Blue Carbon Reception
Join alumni, parents and friends of the University as we host an evening drinks reception featuring a talk given by Professor Bill Austin of the School of Geography and Sustainable Development.
Professor Austin will give a fascinating insight into the latest thinking on climate change, sustainability and Blue Carbon resources: linking the potential of coastal ecosystems and their sediments to store vast quantities of carbon that would otherwise contribute to climate change as Greenhouse Gas emissions.
During this event you will also have the opportunity to meet Professor Brad Mackay, Vice-Principal (International Strategy and External Relations), and Professor Tom Brown, Dean of Science.
Venue: Hong Kong Football Club, 3 Sports Road, Happy Valley
