Historical true crime reports and Graeme Macrae Burnet's His Bloody Project

‘Historical archives are magical, inspiring places for writers.' – Graeme Macrae Burnet

The event in Martyrs Kirk New Park Seminar Room is a celebration of the creative possibilities of Library collections through the consideration of how original documents have inspired this year's St Andrews Booker Prize novel: His Bloody Project. As part of the University's Booker Prize Project events, view murder trial reports and sensational accounts of true crime held in the University Library Special Collections.

A current undergraduate student will present on how fiction compares with history, discussing specific historical reports in relation to Graeme Macrae Burnet's novel.
