The Music Centre's Quartet in Residence makes a welcome McPherson Recital Room debut with a typically varied programme including music by Shostakovich with whom the Fitzwilliams were closely associated, one of Beethoven's most epic late quartets, and music by former quartet member Marcus Barcham Stevens.
