Enterprise Week: Keynote Q&A

The Keynote event for Enterprise Week is the not to be missed highlight of the week.

You'll hear from entrepreneurs from across the UK about their experiences and approach with an opportunity to ask questions afterwards. The Keynote is being organised in partnership with St Andrews Business Club and is sponsored by Santander Universities.

The event will start at 5.30pm, with a welcome followed by Speakers Panel Q&A with Brian Horisk, President, Fife Chamber of Commerce; Caroline Rochford, Self-employed HR and Equality Consultant; and Margaux Noël Woellner, Founder, Ensemble.

Brian Horisk's career began in a start-up publishing company while at Edinburgh University. After the company was sold, he spent three years travelling and working overseas before returning to Scotland to start his own web development company. Brian develops bespoke business software, web applications and websites and has a number of significant clients in the public, private and third sectors. He is the President of Fife Chamber of Commerce.

Caroline Rochford is a self-employed HR and Equality Consultant based in Fife. As a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development and a Fellow of the Institute of Paralegals, her particular interests are in employment law and equality and diversity.  Caroline is also a lay member of the Employment Tribunal Service in Scotland.

Caroline works with small and medium sized businesses as part of her consultancy, including charities and the third sector, offering HR support as well as the full range of HR supporting documentation, such as employee handbook, and HR forms, policies and procedures. Caroline has been responsible for policy development, strategic planning, union consultation and delivering training on a range of HR topics, and initiating change in the field of equality and diversity issues.

Caroline has recently been the President of St Andrews Business Club. She remains on the Committee and assists with the mentoring of the Club's two interns. Caroline's latest project involved her writing and producing a suite of six podcasts relating to the many factors to consider on re-opening the workplace post-Covid-19.

Margaux Noël Woellner currently works as the Head of Communications at Teooh. Margaux is a fourth year English and Psychology student at St Andrews, where she also founded and operates a sustainable fashion company called Ensemble.
