Engaging with Twentieth-Century Pageants: Performance and Study £10

The School of English will be hosting a one-day interdisciplinary conference on the performance and study of twentieth-century pageants.

Invited speakers include Professor Paul Readman (King's College London) and Dr Angela Bartie (University of Edinburgh).

The conference will feature a performance of music from pageant plays by the composer Martin Shaw as well as readings from The Rock by TS Eliot and Judgement at Chelmsford by Charles Williams. This free 45-minute concert is open to the public and will take place at 3:15pm at St Leonard's Chapel.
