Douglas Reed, Professor Emeritus of Music and formerly University Organist at the University of Evansville, Indiana performs music by America's foremost avant-garde composer for organ, William Albright (1944-1998). Reed is joined by percussionist David Kerr in a performance of Albright's Organ Symphony, written for Reed, in a concert which features influences as diverse as Wagner, ragtime and serialism and includes the first UK performance of Albright's ‘Whistler Sketches'.
