Douglas Dunn 80th Birthday Celebration Pay What You Can £15.00 / £12.00 / £10.00
A special public event to celebrate the 80th birthday of one of Scotland's greatest living writers (and former professor in the School of English at the University of St Andrews), the poet Douglas Dunn. The evening features readings from Dunn's work by his friends and fellow poets – including the Irish poet Michael Longley and the Scottish Makar, Kathleen Jamie, and Sean O'Brien – together with some music from a very special guest. The event will run from 7-9pm, and after the event, the audience will be welcome to attend a drinks reception in the Byre foyer.
