Do good, feel good day
On this day, take a small action to help shape a brighter future, and feel good about doing something good.
11am to 4pm Activities at the Wardlaw Museum
Create a bird feeder and plant a seed to take home and nurture. Hear from St Andrews Environmental Network about their work in the local area.
11am Rockpooling Bioblitz
Meet at the Wardlaw Museum and we'll walk to East Sands for some rockpooling fun. Before meeting us we recommend downloading the iNaturalist app. We will provide nets and buckets. Please wear wellies or footwear you don't mind getting wet!
2pm Local litter pick
Meet at the Wardlaw Museum where we'll have litter pickers, bags and gloves for you to use. We'll head off as a group to East Sands, picking up rubbish on our way.
6pm to 8.30pm Repair Café with Transition
Transition and their fabulous volunteers will fix electrical items, clothes, bags and ceramics. Pre-booking is required for electrical items.
This event is part of Rewrite the Future, an exhibition at the Wardlaw Museum exploring how today's choices can shape a fairer, more sustainable tomorrow. Through bold questions, alternative perspectives and inspiring ideas, the exhibition invites you to imagine new possibilities for the world ahead.
Created in collaboration with the St Andrews Centre for Critical Sustainabilities, Rewrite the Future is on display at the Wardlaw Museum until Sunday 28 September.
