As part of our activities for Spotlight week on Afghanistan, the Rector's Committee is collaborating with FAS and St Andrews the Economist to organise a debate on the topic “Occupation Never Brings Liberation: US Intervention is the cause of Afghanistan's woes”.

This event is part of activities organised to encourage staff and students of St Andrews to buy a meal (0.65p) for a struggling family in Afghanistan – our aim is to buy 10,000 meals! This can be done by downloading the ShareTheMeal app by WFP, searching for the St Andrews Challenge and buying a meal.
