Dear Earth is a not-for profit book written by Léa Weimann, a third year Sustainable Development and International Relations student at the St Andrews.
The book explores our profound connection to our blue planet home – Earth. The first prints of the book came out in December 2019 and this is the official book launch event that will be opened by the University Principal Professor Sally Mapstone.
Léa will present her book and talk about the importance of art and activism and how we can all join our efforts to protect our planet. This will be followed by a discussion with Stephen Gethins on the importance of youth involvement in climate activism from a political perspective.
There will also be a reception with drinks and snacks.
