University staff and students and members of the public are invited to join this lecture by Professor Liming Wang. The event is hosted to mark the launch of Chinese Studies at the School of Modern Languages, University of St Andrews.
Professor Liming Wang is the founding director of the Irish Institute for Chinese Studies at University College Dublin. A former Deputy Division Director of China's Ministry of Commerce, he obtained his doctorate in economics from Queen's University, Belfast. His research focuses on Chinese economic reform, energy economics, and price dynamics.
