CRISP online seminar Making ethical surveillance work in the care for elderly with dementia
This tenth online seminar of the Centre for Research into Information, Surveillance and Privacy (CRISP) will welcome Professor Anders Albrechstlund who is Director of the Center for Surveillance Studies (CENSUS) at Aarhus University.
Professor Albrechtslund will present a seminar titled ‘Making ethical surveillance work in the care for elderly with dementia'. His talk will reflect on his ‘Signs of Life' research project which investigated and evaluated the use of surveillance technologies in Danish care centers. The research team developed an ethical framework for the safe use of technologies like GPS, motion sensors, and door alarms in dementia care.
