Creating Inclusive Classrooms: the theory and practice of teaching underrepresented groups

‘Creating Inclusive Classrooms’ is a one-day workshop co-organised by the Minorities and Philosophy (MAP) chapter of the SASP programme and the Diversity Reading List in Philosophy (DRL) project in Edinburgh.

The primary aim of the event is to respond to a growing need in our classrooms: offering inclusive teaching practices and a diversified syllabus engaging to all of our students, including those traditionally underrepresented in higher education, which includes, but is not limited to, women, BME, disabled, and first-generation students.
