Climate Justice & Communities of Colour

Join the St Andrews Green Film Festival and the BAME Student Network as we explore climate justice and the impacts of the climate crisis on BIPOC/BAME communities around the globe.
Through film discussions and a Q&A with guest speakers (TBA), we will look at some examples of how climate change is affecting the lives of communities of colour -- be that the villages on Asia's coastline battling against constantly rising sea levels, or the families in Puerto Rico having to deal with the aftermath of an extreme weather disaster -- and we will highlight some of the work that is currently being done in the area of climate justice.
We recommend watching one (or both!) of these films before the event.
