Chaplain's Conversations: Dr Emily Finer Free ticketed event
The Chaplain, Revd Dr Donald MacEwan, will be in conversation with Dr Emily Finer, a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Russian, to discuss her journey to the University, her research interests, and her vision for the future of education.
Dr Finer's research focuses on transnational and multilingual interactions between English, Polish, Ukrainian, Yiddish, and Russian language cultures. She is also Co-Director of the St Andrews Centre for Exoplanet Research, where she investigates the intersections between global science fiction, exoplanet science, and space policy.
This free, ticketed event is open to all, including students, staff, and the wider community, and provides an opportunity to learn more about the life and work of the University's academic staff.
