A native of Mumbai, former student at the Moscow Conservatory, a one-time accompanist of Mstislav Rostropovitch and with a host of performances at international festivals and on the BBC, Fali Pavri has taught for many years at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland where he now serves as Head of Keyboard and Professor of Piano. Making a very welcome debut at the Laidlaw Music Centre, Fali Pavri's programme includes new music from Serbia and America, Ludwig van Beethoven's final piano sonata and Frédéric Chopin's epic cycle of 24 Preludes.
