Build a working organ -- Orgelkids workshop

Come and build an organ! St Andrews Organ Week, 2026, in collaboration with Sowne of Organe invites children (and ‘big' children) to come and help construct a working pipe organ.
Using an Orgelkids kit, participants will build a fully functioning two-octave, two-stop mechanical organ and play it afterwards.

Participants will then have the opportunity to go on ‘Organ Safari' to meet the full-sized pipe organ in St Salvator's Chapel.

Duration: approximately 70 minutes. Workshop capped at 12 participants.

Age: While many age groups will enjoy this workshop, we recommend participants are over 8 years of age.
