An evening powered by Pecha Kucha

CAPOD is delighted to be hosting the University's first ever presentation evening powered by Pecha Kucha. If you're not familiar with Pecha Kucha, it's an evening of short, random presentations in a fixed format (20 images that appear on screen for 20 seconds each). The aim of PK is to bring people together in a creative way to help convey ideas, make people think and feel part of a community.

Our presenters are a mixture of staff, students and the local community, and we hope to have an audience comprised of these three groups to match.

This event is free to attend. Simply come along to Parliament Hall for 7pm and be prepared to be transported to all sorts of places. Refreshments will be provided.

Powered by Pecha Kucha events are one-off events that are separate from regular city-based Pecha Kucha Nights, and are usually held as part of festivals and conferences, but can also act as standalone events. These events include presentations that use the Pecha Kucha 20 images x 20 seconds format. Find out more on the Pecha Kucha website.
