AI and Sustainability Panel Discussion Free
Join colleagues from the St Andrews Centre for Critical Sustainabilities for a lively discussion showcasing some of the work ongoing at the University on artificial intelligence (AI) and sustainability.
The panel, along with the audience, will explore some of the key questions currently facing society, such as how sustainable is AI and how might we use AI to help us become more sustainable?
Panel members will be Professor Simon Dobson and Dr Tristian Henderson of the School of Computer Science, Dr Ioana Colfescu from the School of Earth and Environmental Sciences and the National Centre for Atmospheric Science, and Calum McDonald of the Scottish AI Alliance. The panel will be chaired by Dr Louise Reid, School of Geography and Sustainable Development.
