African and African Diaspora Printmaking in Scotland An Art and Research Sharing Workshop, organised by the St Andrews Centre for Contemporary Art

Just us on Friday, April 11th, for presentations, discussion, and an opportunity to look at modern and contemporary prints by African and African disapora artists based in Scotland. This workshop is organised to coincide with the visit of St Andrews Global Fellow, Prof Eyitayo Ijisakin, from Obafemi Awolowo University in Nigeria. Prof. Ijisakin is an artist and scholar of printmaking, and will be in residence in St Andrews for April 2025.

The workshop will feature input from three leading contemporary artists with expertise in printmaking — Ade Adesina, Nkem Okwechime and Fadzai Mwakutuya — as well as from curator and researcher, Dr Tiffany Boyle.

There will be short informal presentations, and time for discussion.
