Koenraad Jonckheere is an art historian based at Ghent University, Belgium, a partner institution of St Andrews. He is an expert in early modern Netherlandish and Flemish art and writes just as easily about contemporary visual culture. Koen is the author of Instagrammable:
What Art Tells Us About Social Media (2024) and A New History of Western Art (2022).
Victoria Donovan is a specialist in Ukrainian and East European Studies at the School of Modern Languages. She is the author of Life in Spite of Everything: Tales from the Ukrainian East (2025).
