DESCRIPTION:Earth Day 2021 at the University of St Andrews is about staying local, reaching global. Together with key environmental groups, we have planned three sessions held both online and in town for Earth Day.    10.30 - 11.15am A talk with Transition: How on Earth will a litter pick make change?  Transition project manager Alistair MacLeod and COP26 Discussions Projects Coordinator Montague Jones talk about the impacts of local litter picks and result of bringing community and student action together.     12.00 - 2.00pm A town litter pick with Students for Global Health, the Environmental Sustainability Board and the Hedgehog Friendly Campus group.   We have organised three litter pick routes starting from Woodburn, Boase Woods, and Hallow Hill. Each route covers an area where many of us take an evening stroll to experience nature. They all end at the same point: Crockshaugh Park.
