DESCRIPTION:**Note: This event will be held at a later date.**    This Centre for Research, Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (CREDI) seminar will be led by Dr Aleksander Marinov, from the School of History at St Andrews. The topic will be ‘Romani awakening: Challenging static images and narratives from the interwar period’.    The presentation will discuss both ‘grand narratives’ and ‘counter narratives’ of Roma, and challenges to these. Research on the Bulgarian state archives will be the starting point.    All staff and students are welcome to attend.
