SUMMARY:Scotland – A Literary Guide for Travellers
DESCRIPTION:As a mark of respect for the funeral of HRH Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh, on Saturday 17 April, all events on that day have been rescheduled to take place on Sunday 18 April, with the exception of the University's Annual Public Meeting, which will now take place on Saturday 24 April. Dr Garry MacKenzie will take us on a literary tour of Scotland to reveal how Scotland's history, landscape and society are brought to life in literature in this discussion with Dr Rose Harris-Birtill of his first book, Scotland - A Literary Guide for Travellers, published in 2016. Organised as part of the Virtual Alumni Weekend 2021. Visit the updated Alumni Weekend programme web page to register for this event. Please note, if you have already registered to attend any events on Saturday, there is no need to re-register for Sunday. Links to all events will be sent to everyone who has registered in the next day or two. Events scheduled for Friday 16 April and Sunday 18 April will proceed as planned.  https://events.st-andrews.ac.uk/events/scotland-a-literary-guide-for-travellers/
