SUMMARY:By the Seaside: Heritage, Healing, and New Horizons
DESCRIPTION:This is the first exhibition put together by eight postgraduates from the museum and gallery studies MLitt. The exhibition, ‘By the Seaside: Heritage, Healing, and New Horizons’, will be at the Scottish Fisheries Museum from Saturday 20 March to Sunday 20 June 2021 and also available online. The exhibition delves into the vital interconnectivity between humanity and the blue spaces that surround us, looking at how this relationship manifests across history, art, psychology and the sciences. The organisers hope that visitors will gain a new perspective on nature, mindfulness, leisure, and the spirit of place, in addition to finding comfort in the sea’s influence during times of uncertainty and loss. Find our more and visit the virtual exhibition via the website. You can also follow the organisers on Twitter (@By_TheSeaside), Instagram (@by_the_seaside_exhibition), and Facebook (‘By the Seaside: Heritage, Healing and New Horizons’) to keep up-to-date with their work. https://events.st-andrews.ac.uk/events/by-the-seaside-heritage-healing-and-new-horizons/
