DESCRIPTION:We are delighted to welcome you to the latest lecture in the Saints Talk series from Dr Alan Miller, Virtual Galleries, Tours and Museums: digital responses to the impact of Covid-19 on engagement with heritage, taking place on Tuesday 9 March at 5pm GMT via Microsoft Teams.    The central role played by heritage in social, educational and economic life has been seriously impacted by Covid-19, which has made physical access to cultural and natural heritage impossible.    The development of digital engagement and virtual reality have, however, enabled initiatives such as Museum at Home to continue to connect audiences with their heritage.    So what have we learned from this development? And what does the future hold? Will we just go back to the way we were or is there a new vision of heritage that we can imagine and aspire to?
