DESCRIPTION:We are delighted to invite you to join us for the fifth instalment in our Saints Talk online lecture series where Professor Kishan Dholakia will talk about 'Light for Life: new advances for healthcare, biomedical discovery and beyond'.    In this talk, Kishan will cover the impact light can have to allow us to image the biomedical world of molecules, cells and tissue. He will describe some of the principles of imaging and show examples of using such imaging in neuroscience and on diseases such as TB. The talk will also cover the use of light for food security - and how we can even test a wee dram of whisky without wasting a drop. Light is Incredible.
