DESCRIPTION:The Alexander Technique is a way of using our whole self: body, mind and spirit, so that everything we do becomes easier, lighter, less effort. The relevance to musicians – people who rely on mobility and poise in order to perform to a high standard – is obvious. In this workshop, you will be introduced to the key elements of the Alexander Technique. Please wear loose, comfortable clothing and bring two normal-sized paperback books with you.
