SUMMARY:St Andrews Symphony Orchestra conducted by Michael Devlin
DESCRIPTION:The Music Society's flagship ensemble explores one of the greatest composers of the twentieth century. Described by The Courier in 2018 as "energetic, enthralling and something to behold", the Symphony Orchestra will celebrate Leonard Bernstein's hundredth birthday with his best known works, including the overture from 'Candide'.    The orchestra will also tackle selections from Prokofiev's dramatic and colourful 'Romeo and Juliet Suites'. The evening will see the orchestra begin an exciting new chapter in its lengthy history with their new conductor, Michael Devlin.    Admission: £8, £5 (students), £1 (Music Centre members), free (MusicCard holders). Tickets are available on the door or on the Student Union website under 'Events'.
