SUMMARY:Lunchtime Concert: History of Jazz Piano Volume 1 with Richard Michael

Playing from the repertoire of Fats Waller, James P Johnson and Earl Hines, Richard will show the similarities between early jazz and Baroque, ending with the stylings of Art Tatum, who formed the bridge between Stride and Swing – the focus of the next recital in the series.
