DESCRIPTION:Community gardens come in many different shapes and sizes that offer challenges and opportunities for users, managers and growers alike. This one-day workshop looks to share best practice and inspire garden development by comparing community food growing at different scales. From the one-person home plot serving the community up to food growing hubs and community supported agriculture. We will explore issues around soil health, plot design, maximising yield and working with the community as well as consider the long-term viability of our projects and enterprises.
