SUMMARY:Funding competition event: Converge application online workshop
DESCRIPTION:*This event is moving online and will be delivered via Zoom*    Please book as normal, via PDMS.  All booked participants will receive further instructions and a link to join this online event.    Calling all budding entrepreneurs...    Applications are now open for three different Converge Challenges, entrepreneurial programmes delivered by Converge, the leading entrepreneurial development programme for staff, students and recent graduates from Scottish Universities.    Converge Challenge is aimed at new or prospective businesses that demonstrate strong intellectual property, high commercial potential and scalability.    The Impact and Creative Challenges are for mission-led businesses and creative sector businesses, respectively. These have prizes of up to £29,000 (20k cash plus 9k in-kind) and £41,000 (20k cash plus 21k in kind), respectively.    Staff, students and recent graduates with an early-stage, innovative business idea are invited by the Careers Centre, Research & Innovation Services (RIS) and CAPOD to a special online event to hear from Dr Lissa Herron, Enterprise Outreach Manager to learn more about this exciting competition.    10.30am to 11.30am Presentation from Dr Lissa Herron, Enterprise Outreach Manager (plus time for discussions and questions)    11.30am to 1pm Individual coaching sessions via Zoom    To participate in the one-to-one coaching session, please book your place on the workshop then email your Research Staff Developers via passportprogs@st-andrews.ac.uk by Wednesday 25th March to be provided with a time slot.
