DESCRIPTION:Bio:  Chris is Health Improvement Senior for Physical Activity within NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde, a post he has held for 12 years.  His role requires him to work across six associated Board local authority areas, 9 Acute Hospitals, Clinical Services, Primary Care and partner organisations. Chris is responsible for leading implementation of the board’s physical activity policy in line with national priorities including elements of the Health Promoting Health Service policy, embedding the National Physical Activity Pathway across clinical settings and staff health.      Seminar outline:  The seminar will highlight how NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde’s increased referrals to physical activity (PA) services from health professionals via improved communication and marketing materials.
