SUMMARY:Accounting, Governance and Organisations thematic research group meeting
DESCRIPTION:This meeting of the School of Management's Accounting, Governance and Organisations thematic research group will welcome guest speaker Professor Markus J Milne, from the University of Canterbury, New Zealand. The title of the talk will be 'Musings on accountants' (mis)representations of human-nature interaction'. Professor Milne is visiting the School to work with Dr Shona Russell and Professor Rob Gray on a project that makes a critical examination of the concept of corporate environmental performance. Over the past 30 years he has developed a critical research agenda investigating the social and environmental impacts of organisations, and the means by which they account for and communicate those impacts.
