SUMMARY:Bible and Contemporary World Postgraduate Conference
DESCRIPTION:The Bible and Contemporary World (B&amp;CW) Postgraduate Conference is open to current postgraduate students in the B&amp;CW programme, PhD researchers in the School of Divinity and related disciplines, and B&amp;CW alumni.    The conference will explore how biblical interpretation and Christian theology engage contemporary cultural, social, political, ethical and ecclesial questions. It is designed as a collaborative and formative space, emphasising discussion, constructive feedback and intellectual development.    The conference welcomes papers engaging themes including:     	Scripture, Theology and Contemporary Questions   	Reading Practices: Text, Context, Interpretation   	Depth, Practice and Lived Theology   	Theology, Vocation and Practice (Alumni Session)   	Embodiment, Practice and Lived Theology   	Reading Scripture Between Academy and Church    The organisers are looking for papers for the conference, in particular work in progress, from developing projects to advanced research, provided it is sufficiently developed for clear presentation and discussion.
