DESCRIPTION:An online book launch for a new collection on eco-cinema, hosted by the Department of Film Studies and the Centre for Screen Cultures at the University of St Andrews.    Please join us in celebrating the publication of the edited collection Cinematic Ecosystems: Screen Encounters with More-than-humans in the Era of Environmental Crisis, edited by Mary Hegedus and Jessica Mulvogue. This ninety-minute book launch will feature a screening of Lisa Jackson's short film Lichen (2019) and short talks by the editors and four of the book's contributors: Marek Jancovic (Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam), Scott Birdwise (Ontario College of Art &amp; Design), Ariadna Cordal (Pompeo Fabra University) and Brenda Longfellow (York University, Toronto).
