DESCRIPTION:Honorary Professor of Jazz Piano Richard Michael is joined by jazz recording artist Adam Booker, Assistant Professor of Double Bass at Appalachian State University. The workshop is open to all participants of all levels of experience on all instruments and will  cover techniques including:  • how to play a walking bass  • how to realise a chord sequence (just like Bach!)  • how to accompany a soloist  • how to play a solo  • how not to get in the way, and just groove!
