DESCRIPTION:Widely recognised as one of the outstanding British sopranos, Grammy-nominated Carolyn Sampson has performed as an opera artist at Glyndebourne, ENO, Scottish Opera and the Opera de Paris in addition to her many appearances at the BBC Proms and Wigmore Hall and with orchestras including the Royal Concertgebouw, Leipzig Gewandhaus, CBSO and Philadelphia Orchestra. As a recitalist she made her debut at a sold-out Carnegie Hall in 2013 and her recordings have included critically acclaimed releases on BIS, Deutsche Gramophon, Harmonia Mundi and Hyperion.
