Featuring contributions from students and scholars, this event celebrates the everyday lives, creativity and hopes of people across the region, from Palestine and Morocco to Iran and Syria.    Expect short talks, reflections, poetry, photos, live traditional dance and musical accompaniment, all revealing the unexpected threads that link East and West. The evening will include a special performance by Middle Eastern dance troupes.
