DESCRIPTION:You provide your lunch and the Entrepreneurship Centre will provide an inspiring and engaging series of online masterclasses, exploring key topics for anyone interested in getting an idea out into the world.     Join us for this months' Lunch and Learn delivered by Joe Richards, Finance Director of St Andrews Innovation. Joe leads the finance team in providing full compliance services along with commercial support and problem-solving to our portfolio of subsidiary companies. Joe also works closely with the Entrepreneurship Centre and University colleagues to support new opportunities and projects arising through the ecosystem. Before joining St Andrews Innovation, Joe qualified as a chartered accountant with RSM (formerly Baker Tilly) with a focus on small companies.         In this session Joe will cover:    1. Why Consultancy? -- Understand what we mean by consultancy and how it can apply to your role.    2. Identifying Consultancy Opportunities -- Learn how to spot potential projects, from expert analysis to advisory roles and corporate training.    3. How It Works -- Discover how the University supports consultancy, handling contracts, pricing, and admin so you can focus on delivering value.    4. Maximizing Your Earnings -- Explore how consultancy income is distributed and the different ways you and your department can benefit from it.    5. Getting Started -- Practical steps to begin consulting and where to go to seek support.         The session will run for around 45 minutes with time for discussion and Q & A.
