DESCRIPTION:Development is delighted to invite you to the next instalment in the Saints Talk series from Dr Marcel Lukas, 'The Impact of Generative AI on Work and Education'.      Dr Marcel Lukas is Vice-Dean Executive Education and Senior Lecturer in Banking and Finance at the University of St Andrews. His research focuses on consumer financial decision-making, financial technology, and financial education -- particularly the behavioural factors influencing spending and saving. Dr Lukas is also a fellow at the Office for National Statistics and an advisor to government bodies and financial regulators.     In this talk, Dr Lukas will explore the implications of generative Artificial Intelligence (AI) for the future of work and education. As AI tools become more integrated into professional and educational settings, what opportunities and challenges arise? Dr. Lukas will provide practical insights into how generative AI is transforming the ways we work, learn, and make decisions, drawing from his research in financial technology, behavioural economics, and policy engagement.
