Through interviews with members of the Alawite community, Rahaf Aldoughli and Haian Dukhan uncovered what really happened to them during the war. They spoke of shifting loyalties, fragile ties with the regime, and tense dynamics with the Sunnis and other sects as the Syrian Civil War raged on.
